Last Friday, we at Refreshworks swapped our keyboards and meeting rooms for the sand of Scheveningen. It was time for action, collaboration, and fun during our team outing: Expedition RobinZon!
Expedition RobinZon: the ultimate team challenge
Divided into three teams of five, we competed against each other. And no, this was no simple walk on the beach. Eight challenges awaited us, involving both physical and mental challenges. Think tactical puzzles, speed tasks, and tug-of-war.
At Refreshworks, we strongly believe in the power of teamwork and having a top-level sports mentality. Expedition RobinZon proved to be the perfect reflection of this. Each challenge required a different quality: speed, insight, memory, or cooperation. But above all, it was important to trust each other, stay focused, and leverage each other's strengths, which is exactly what we do in our daily work. And as with top-level sports, it wasn't just about winning, but above all about becoming stronger together. Encouraging each other, playing smart, and pushing boundaries were central. And all of this with a great deal of enthusiasm.
After an afternoon full of competition, sweat, and sand, we ended the day with a delicious BBQ. It was a moment of relaxation, reflection, and above all, enjoying good food and each other's company. On to the next challenge!
