Last month, Refreshworks had the privilege of sponsoring NIMA Marketing Day, the premier marketing event in the Netherlands. We look back with great enthusiasm on an incredible day, packed with information about everything related to marketing, from like-minded marketing professionals to speakers from various top brands and leading sponsors.
NIMA Marketing Day: the event for and by marketers
DeFabrique in Utrecht once again served as the 'festival grounds' for NIMA Marketing Day this year. It is a particularly atmospheric location full of character. Inspiring keynote speakers took the stage at the beginning and end of the day. In between, there was the opportunity to attend 50 other interesting speakers, spread across 5 time slots and 10 rooms.
The event kicked off in the Copraloods with a humorous and energetic keynote speech by Paul Smit. During his presentation on the creation of connection, trust, and creativity within an organization, he draws you into his story and insights about human behavior and how our brains work.
Talk about an interesting lineup
The day featured a variety of speakers, each discussing a current marketing topic. From marketing strategy to marketing performance, all topics were covered. Speakers included Dennis van Evert (Bol.com), Lisa de Wachter (YouTube), Paul van Keeken (Adobe), Nikki Gillessen (ABN AMRO), and many more.
The growth booth
An unmissable eye-catcher at the event: the Refreshworks Growth Booth. Together with our team, we were able to share the various disciplines that Refreshworks has to offer. But we also got to meet potential customers, talk to fellow marketers, and, above all, learn a lot about the latest dos and don'ts in marketing. In addition, we did what we love to do most: share our passion for growth marketing!
Back to the keynote speakers
Presenters Rutger Mollee and Michiel Eijsbouts from De Speld provided news flashes, surveys, and interviews to give the marketing industry the necessary air and sharp commentary. In the context of "Save the best for last," Wouter Vink from Lightyear concluded with his keynote speech "Bumps in the road."
