At Refreshworks, we believe that technology only has an impact if you know how to communicate it effectively. And that applies not only to our AI solutions, but also to the way we communicate, present, and tell stories. Yesterday, we received special training in this area from none other than Gerben van Driel, known from RTL Z.
Gerben is an experienced presenter and journalist who speaks daily about innovation and technology. In his work, he interviews leaders from the AI world, such as the Head of AI at Picnic Technologies, and entrepreneurs from Silicon Valley. His ability to present complex topics in an understandable, inspiring, and authentic way made this session particularly valuable.
Learning from a master storyteller
During the training, Gerben introduced us to the art of persuasive presentation. We learned how to radiate confidence with the right energy and body language, how to construct a story that sticks, and how to remain true to yourself as a speaker, even when there is a camera pointed at you.
The training was intensive, interactive, and above all, great fun. We practiced, gave each other feedback, and saw everyone grow. It was wonderful to see how the team was open to feedback, encouraged each other, and took steps forward together.
