Last week, our entire team traveled to the Veluwe for the Refreshworks Workation. Four days in which strategy, inspiration, and connection came together and in which we returned as a stronger, sharper, and more united team.
Room for strategy and vision for the future
An important part of the workation was creating distance from day-to-day operations. In an inspiring environment, we were able to look ahead. Where do we stand as an organization? Where do we want to go? And how do we ensure that, as frontrunners, we actually achieve that goal?
During strategic sessions and an extensive team retrospective, we discussed not only our objectives, but also how we can strengthen each other as a team to realize those ambitions.
Inspiration and resilience
The highlight was the keynote speech by Sander Aarts, former marine and expert in resilience and leadership. His story made a deep impression and gave us practical insights into staying sharp, working together under pressure, and leveraging each other's strengths.
In addition, morning sports and yoga sessions ensured an energetic start to the day. It was a reminder that vitality and performance are inextricably linked, both individually and collectively.

What became clear to us again this week is that our culture is the foundation of our growth. By investing in trust, energy, and positivity, we create the space to excel. We are proud of our team and everything we achieve together.
This workation has demonstrated that when strategy, inspiration, and connection come together, the outcome is greater than the sum of its parts. This is the foundation on which Refreshworks continues to build: focused, resilient, and future-oriented.
